A partner, not a vendor.
A senior-led software company that grew out of one thing money can't shortcut — a reputation for getting it right.
It started with one client — and a reputation.
DevHills didn't start with a business plan. It started with code. After more than 13 years building software as an engineer myself, I was working with a client in Germany who wanted more than another delivery — they trusted the work enough to ask me to build them a team. People who would hold the same standard I did. That was the beginning of DevHills.
I built the company around a rule I'm not willing to break: quality over quantity. I'd rather protect a reputation earned over years than chase headcount. Every project we take on is one I'd put my own name on — because, in practice, I do.
Most of our clients sit under NDA, so I can't name them here — but the standard behind every one of them is identical, whether we're building from scratch, modernizing, or scaling under load.

We grew on reputation, not a sales team.
No pivots, no growth-at-all-costs — just work good enough that clients kept coming back. Here's what that's shaped us into.
Referrals, not outbound
Every client so far has come from a referral or a returning one. We've never run a sales team — the work does the selling.
Small and senior, on purpose
We hire slowly, and only people senior enough to own outcomes. It keeps the bar high and no one hiding behind a ticket.
High-stakes software
Most of what we build lives in regulated, high-stakes domains — where a bug isn't cosmetic and trust has to be earned.
Still founder-led
The founder of DevHills is still in the code and on the call — same standard whether the team is five or fifty.
“Quality over quantity. Always.”
We grow by protecting a hard-won reputation — not by filling seats. It's why we stay senior-led, keep teams small, and only take on work we can genuinely stand behind.
Small, senior-led, and accountable.
A focused team, not a pyramid — you talk to the people writing the code, and the work is yours the whole way.
Senior-led
The people you meet are the people who build — no hand-off to a junior bench once the contract is signed.
Outcome-owned
We're accountable for the result that ships, not the hours we bill along the way.
No lock-in, ever
Your code, IP and documentation from day one. No proprietary framework, no hostage code.
